This Privacy Policy explains how DEXSOFT Games (“we,” “us,” “our”) handles information in connection with this website (the “Site”). It does not cover any other website, service, or platform — including Fab, the Unity Asset Store, Discord, Patreon, YouTube, or any other third-party site linked from here, each of which has its own privacy policy.

Who we are

Information we collect

This Site does not have a contact form, user accounts, or checkout process, so we do not directly collect personal information from visitors browsing the Site.

That said, a few things are worth being transparent about:

• Server/hosting logs. Like virtually all websites, our hosting provider automatically logs basic technical information (such as IP address, browser type, and access times) as part of normal server operation. This is standard infrastructure logging, not something we actively collect or use for tracking.
• Embedded videos. Some News articles include embedded YouTube videos. We use YouTube’s privacy-enhanced embed mode where possible, which limits the data YouTube collects unless you actually interact with the video player. If you play an embedded video, YouTube/Google may set cookies and collect data according to their own privacy policy.
• No analytics or advertising cookies are currently used on this Site. If that changes in the future (for example, if we add website analytics), we will update this policy and, where required, add a cookie consent notice before any such tracking is activated.

Showcase & Community submissions

If you submit a project, image, or video for consideration in our Showcase & Community section (for example, via our Discord server), we collect only what you choose to share: your project name, your name or studio name (as you’d like to be credited), media you provide, and which DEXSOFT pack(s) you used. This information is used solely to feature your project on the Site, with credit, if selected.

By submitting a project for consideration, you confirm that you have the right to share the submitted media and grant us permission to display it, along with your name/credit, on the Site. You retain all ownership rights to your own project and content. If you’d like your submission removed from the Site at any time, contact us at info@dexsoft-games.com and we’ll take it down.

Third-party links

This Site links out to external platforms — Fab, the Unity Asset Store, Discord, Patreon, YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, and X — for purchases, community engagement, and social media. Once you leave our Site via one of these links, that platform’s own privacy policy and terms apply, not ours. We encourage you to review their policies directly.

Children’s privacy

This Site is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Your rights

Since we don’t collect personal data through the Site directly, there is generally nothing on file to access or delete beyond any Showcase submission you’ve sent us. If you have questions about information related to a Showcase submission, or would like it removed, contact us at info@dexsoft-games.com.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time — for example, if we add analytics or other tracking in the future. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated “Last updated” date.
