Medieval Harbour has been updated to v2.0.
This is a big one. v2.0 is a major rework of the pack’s lighting and landscape, now built and captured on Unreal Engine 5.8. The result is a noticeably stronger look across the whole harbour: better light, better ground, same waterfront.
Important for existing customers: v2.0 is not backwards-compatible with v1.x projects, because asset paths and landscape layers have changed. If you’re already using Medieval Harbour in an active project, read the changelog before updating, since dropping v2.0 straight into a v1.x project can break references. If you’re not ready to move yet, v1 remains available in the listing, so there’s no pressure to update on our timeline instead of yours.
For anyone newer to the pack: Medieval Harbour is a modular harbour environment built from 151 unique meshes, so you can recreate your own medieval port in no time. It includes ships, boats, barrels, boxes, wooden constructions, and harbour structural pieces like columns and walls, along with foliage models and 3 medieval barns with both interior and exterior.
The landscape is built with advanced rock shaders and controllable landscape materials, with macro and micro detail. It comes with 9 paintable layers and auto-resizing normal details, so cliffs can be resized and combined cleanly. Foliage, cliff, stone, tree, and grass meshes are included to hand-place or paint across the terrain.
